BSc Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management

The BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management degree at the University of East London will prepare students for successful careers in construction, real estate and civil engineering. The programme equips students with the skills to tackle complex quantity surveying and construction management issues to be able to address sustainability and value creation in the built environment.

The programme runs for 3-4 years, with an option to undertake a placement year at major construction companies. This hands-on experience allows students to collaborate on live projects, apply theoretical knowledge in practice, and contribute to the ongoing development of the building environment. Students are assessed through various methods such as project reports, coursework, individual and group presentations, and exams, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the subject area.

Grade Requirements

• 104-112 UCAS Tariff Points with qualifications equivalent to UK A-levels in subjects such as business studies, economics, or other related fields. Typical offers range between ABB and BBC.

• International Baccalaureate: An overall score of 28-32 points.

English Proficiency

• Non-native English speakers may need to demonstrate proficiency in the language, typically through an IELTS overall score of at least 6.5 (or a 5.5 in each section).
