Course overview
The MBA Master of Business Administration - MBA Global program at the University of Derby is designed to equip students with advanced management and leadership skills tailored to today’s international business environment.

For the assessment for this program, students will complete written assignments and case study analyses. Entry requirements
- Candidates may need considerable management experience and a strong record of achievement. Applicants who meet these criteria might not have previously studied at the University.
- Candidates with few or no formal qualifications but who have strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, and the motivation to succeed may still gain entry.
Grade Requirements
- Applicants should hold a good honours degree (minimum second class upper) from a UK university ( or overseas equivalent) in any subject or professional qualification.
English Proficiency
- Applicants should have an IELTS score of around 6.5 overall, with no component scoring below 6.0.
- Alternatively, other recognised tests like TOEFL or PTE may be accepted, provided they meet the required thresholds.

The 25% alumni discount is available if you graduated in the academic years 2023/24 or 2024/25 and are fully enrolled on a postgraduate programme by July 2026.
Biomedical Science Excellence Scholarship
Two awards of £1,000 are available, and will be awarded as a tuition fee reduction in the second semester. Each recipient will also be allocated up to £500 to use to attend a conference.
