BSc Psychology with Education

Wondering how to study human emotions, behaviour, and actions, and being keen on human psychology, are great ways to start this three-year full-time course. With its contemporary curriculum and its application to the modern world, you will explore a range of core psychological perspectives to understand the human mind and behaviour better, develop your reflective skills, and explore the application of psychology, preparing you to reach your future goals. Alongside exploring theory in the classroom and its application to contemporary societal challenges, you will also have practical opportunities to develop your research and experimental skills in our state-of-the-art psychology lab.

The course will raise questions such as how individual differences affect academic achievement. You will study modules across various areas of psychology, as well as three bespoke modules that explore the contemporary applications of theory. If you are not keen on exams, this course is for you. Unlike many degrees in this field, you will have no written exams during or at the end of the course and will be assessed through practical assessments and coursework only.

The British Psychological Society accredits the course.

University College Birmingham is a university in Birmingham, England. It was awarded full university status in 2012, along with Newman University. It is not a member of Universities UK. Grade Requirements

• For this course, a UCAS Tariff of 96 points is required.
• A-level: CCC (including Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma – first teaching from September 2016 – MMM).
• Other international examinations are also accepted.

English Language Requirements

• IELTS exam with a minimum overall grade of 6.5.
• TOEFL with a minimum pass grade of 77–93.

As an international student enrolling in the BSc Psychology with Education full-time bachelor's degree course in 2026, the tuition fee for the academic year will be £16,000. Fees are subject to annual change.

• Alumni Scholarship: The new Alumni Scholarship replaces the Undergraduate-to-Postgraduate Waiver. Students progressing from an international foundation diploma to an undergraduate programme, or from an undergraduate to a postgraduate programme, will receive either a 25% or 20% tuition fee scholarship, depending on their academic achievements.
