PHD Ceramics, Glasses and Polymers

Course Overview

The MPhil in Ceramics, Glasses and Polymers is a research course for those who want to undertake an extensive study into these materials. Entry Requirements for Nepalese Students

Candidates are required to submit a personal statement in which they discuss their reasons for applying for the course and other relevant information regarding their studies. All applicants must submit a completed postgraduate application form, including a 1500-word research proposal. Applicants are also required to give a short presentation, followed by an interview.

Grade Requirements:

  • Applicants need at least an undergraduate degree (2.1 or above) in a relevant subject.
  • Alternatively, a relevant master's qualification is also acceptable.

English Proficiency:

  • Applicants from non-English speaking backgrounds must provide evidence of English language ability.
  • An overall IELTS score of 6.5 or above, with at least 6.0 in each component or an accepted equivalent. Please note that your test score must be current, i.e. within the last two years.

Cost of Study
