Course overview
The MSc Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Robert Gordon University is designed to support students throughout their entrepreneurial journey by providing effective tools and techniques aimed at enhancing their contribution to business success. This 16-month programme equips students with the entrepreneurial and innovative thinking needed to lead or grow their business or operate effectively with an established organisation.
This course develops students' understanding of the business environment and the challenges faced by various types of organisations, including family and social enterprises. The programme offers a dual award: a globally recognised master's qualification and a Certificate in Strategic Management and Leadership (level 7) from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).
Entry requirements
Candidates are required to submit a personal statement in which they discuss their reasons for applying for the course and other relevant information regarding their studies. A relevant academic and/or employer reference is also required. Students have the option to upload their CV along with their applications to demonstrate their work experience.
Grade Requirements:
- Applicants must hold an undergraduate honours degree from a recognised or accredited university with a minimum of 2:2 or equivalent.
- Applicants with a lower degree classification and/or relevant work experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
English Proficiency:
- International applicants need an overall IELTS score of 6.0, with a minimum of 5.5 in each component, or equivalents like TOEFL and PTE.
