Course overview
The BEng Electronic Engineering programme is designed to prepare professionals in the electronic engineering field. The curriculum focuses on practical, hands-on learning and problem-solving, with a focus on using technology to create innovative solutions. The programme is accredited by the Institution of Engineering Designers (IED), which puts students on the path to achieving Chartered Engineer (CEng) status after further study and experience.

In this course, students' progress will be assessed through formal reports, presentations, and structured dialogues. Students in this course also have access to resources such as free laptop loans, free printing, and wi-fi to support their studies.
Entry requirements
To be enrolled, you need to submit a personal statement, and a relevant academic and/or employer reference is also required. You also have the option to upload your CV along with your applications to demonstrate your work experience.
Grade Requirements:
- Applicants are normally required to have at least 112 UCAS points. This can be achieved through A-Levels with grades BBC, a Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma with DMM, or a T Level.
- International qualifications equivalent to A-levels are also accepted by the university.
English Proficiency:
- Applicants from non-English speaking backgrounds must score at least 6.0 overall in the IELTS, with no individual component score below 5.5, or submit an equivalent test score.
