About University

London South Bank University (LSBU) is a public university located in the centre of London, near the River Thames. It was first opened in 1892 as the Borough Polytechnic Institute. Entry Requirements for Nepalese Students

Grade Requirements:

  • Applicants must possess a UCAS tariff score of 112 points to be eligible for this course. This can be obtained through qualifications such as A Level, Pearson BTEC, and Access to HE Diploma.

English Proficiency:

  • International students need to show proficiency in English by having an IELTS score of 6.0 with at least 5.5 in each of the four components.
  • Equivalent qualifications, such as TOEFL iBT of 80 and PTE Academic of 52, are also accepted.

Cost of Study

The annual tuition fee to study a BSc in Information Technology at LSBU is £17,600. The fee quoted is for the 2025/2026 academic session only. Therefore, tuition fees for subsequent years can be increased.

Scholarships

LSBU gives different scholarships and bursaries to support students who are joining the university. One example is the Vice-Chancellor’s International Merit Award. This award is for students who have very good academic results. If you are chosen, you can receive £2,000 for each year of your studies.
