The BSc Health and Social Care (including Foundation Year) at London Metropolitan University will enable students to explore the principles, knowledge, values, and policies that bring about good health and social care practice, as well as the formal and informal tools needed to promote good practice within the sector.

The Foundation Year will help students develop their academic study skills, which will prepare them for a successful undergraduate level. Applicants are expected to have 32 UCAS tariff points from at least one A-level or an equivalent Level 3 qualification such as a BTEC Diploma.

English Proficiency:

• Applicants from non-English speaking backgrounds usually need an overall IELTS score of 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each of the four components.
• Alternatively, equivalent qualifications like PTE and TOEFL are also accepted.
