Course Overview
Liverpool John Moores University’s BSc Forensic Anthropology explains how skeletal remains of dead humans can be gathered for investigation. In this course, students will learn how the human skeletal remains can be examined for law enforcement agencies to derive data, connect patterns, and estimate time since death.
During this programme, students will work on projects that model the actual workplace. They will also research the latest ways scientific principles can be used to identify the deceased alongside personal information required in a legal setting. Some of the information that could be derived using the principles includes age, sex, ancestry, and stature. This degree is suitable for students who are curious and critical thinkers, as the ability to think deeply and commit to research is needed to study this course.
