Course overview

The PhD in Gender Studies gives you the opportunity to develop your own research skills and expertise as part of our vibrant cross-faculty community. As part of this you will have a chance to be part of our active research community and to engage with both formal (e.g. seminars) and informal (e.g. coffee mornings) gatherings of staff spread across a number of research centres and departments.

Entry requirements

Degree: 2:1 — Bachelor's degree: an upper second class honours degree (UK or equivalent) in a relevant social science background.
