BA Business Management and Media
Course overview
Keele University BA Media with Business Management is a three-year undergraduate programme that teaches students media analysis, creative communication skills, and business methods. It also helps them to understand content creation and business operations needed for careers in marketing or digital industries.
In this programme, students learn to analyse, research, and understand the media while developing storytelling skills. They will also gain an understanding of how modern businesses work, including economics, politics, and social issues. They learn to use digital tools to make informed decisions, understand data analysis, and become leaders in their fields.
Additionally, students undergo training to write for film, audio, and digital platforms, as well as become critical analysts of different forms of media. This helps them to understand content creation and how to reach a target audience for a product or service using the media.
Learning in this course is through lectures, tutorials, simulations, workshops, online learning, lab sessions, and group work. Assessment methods include academic and creative portfolios, presentations and pitches, essays, case studies, examinations, tests, and research projects.
