MEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering

The MEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering program gives students a thorough education in the subject, helping them understand key theories, principles, and concepts in engineering and computer technology. Students learn to combine engineering principles with math, science, and management skills to solve electrical engineering problems effectively. 

The program also teaches students about the many roles a qualified engineer can have and introduces them to specific design techniques and software used in the industry. By covering these areas, the program prepares students for a career in electrical engineering.

The program focuses on "learning by doing," where students develop practical skills alongside their academic studies. From the third year onwards, students work on individual and group projects that give them hands-on experience, and they also learn about the economic and commercial sides of business. This approach helps students find solutions to current and future challenges in electrical engineering, using the same equipment and facilities as the industry. Grade Requirements: 

• Applicants need A-Levels at BBB-AAB, including Mathematics and Physics or Electronics, with required subjects at BB. 
• BTEC Extended Diploma DDM in a relevant science subject with Physics and Mathematics is accepted.  
• Applicants need English and Math at National 5 Grade C or GCSE Grade C/4 (or equivalent) minimum.

English Proficiency: 

• Applicants need an IELTS score of 6.0 overall, with no score lower than 5.5 in each section. 
• A strong grade in WAEC (West African Examinations Council) English Language (e.g., a C6 or B3), for West African students 
• PTE and TOEFL are also accepted.

For international students, the tuition fee for the 2025/ 26 academic year is £25,008 per year.
