BSc Computer Science Data Science and Diploma in Industrial Training

Course Overview

This is a five-year programme designed to provide a solid foundation in computer science by combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience. The curriculum covers core concepts like software and systems design, artificial intelligence, data science, and cybersecurity. 

The programme includes a mandatory 12-month industrial placement in the fourth year, which leads to a Diploma in Industrial Training. This placement year is important for gaining experience, as the curriculum is developed in collaboration with industrial partners to equip students with modern skills.

Entry Requirements

  • Applicants need A Levels at ABB and BBC, a BTEC Extended Diploma at DMM, an overall Merit in a T Level, or an International Baccalaureate.
  • International qualifications equivalent to A-levels are also accepted.

English Proficiency:

  • Students from non-English-speaking countries must demonstrate their English language proficiency by achieving an overall score of 6.0 in the IELTS, with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
  • Other English language qualifications, like TOEFL, are also accepted.
