MSc Advanced Motorsport Mechatronics

Course Overview

This Masters course helps students prepare for jobs in the fast-paced world of motorsport and high-performance engineering. It focuses on how mechanical, electronic, and computer systems work together in race cars. Students will learn a lot about advanced control systems, computer modelling, car communication networks, and built-in systems.   • They are also expected to have qualifications equal to A-Level Mathematics and Physics from the UK.

English Proficiency:

  • If English is not your main language, you will need an IELTS Academic score of 7.0 overall. Within this, you'll need at least 6.5 in reading and listening, and 7.0 in speaking and writing.
  • The university also accepts similar scores from other recognised English tests, such as TOEFL (100 overall) or Pearson PTE Academic (68 overall).

Cost of Study

For the 2025-26 academic year, the tuition fee for the full-time and Part-time MSc Aerospace Computational Engineering programme is £27,910.

Scholarships

Cranfield University and other organisations offer various scholarships to help Masters students with funding. For instance, the FIA Motorsport Engineering Scholarship is a full scholarship that covers tuition fees for the MSc Advanced Motorsport Mechatronics course and helps with living costs in the UK.
