Entry Requirements for Nepalese Students

Candidates are required to submit a personal statement, and a relevant academic and/or employer reference is also required. They also have the option to include their CV along with their applications to show their work experience.

Grade Requirements: 

  • For direct entry to the BEng, applicants typically need A-levels at BBB-BBC, which must include Mathematics. General Studies is not usually counted. 
  • Alternatively, a Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (in an Engineering or Construction subject) with grades DDM-DMM is also accepted.
  • International qualifications that are equivalent to A-levels are also accepted.

English Proficiency: 

  • If English is not your main language, an IELTS score of 6.0 overall is required, with no individual part scoring lower than 5.5.
  • The university also accepts PTE, TOEFL and other equivalent English language tests.

Cost of Study

For international students, the full-time tuition fee for the BEng Civil Engineering at Coventry University is £19,850 per year.

Scholarships

Coventry University offers scholarships to help international undergraduate students. The CU Undergraduate Scholarship is worth up to £6,000 for a three-year degree course, awarded as £2,000 per year. To be considered, international applicants typically need to hold a conditional offer for a CU undergraduate course and be self-funded. No separate scholarship application form is usually needed.
