Course Overview

The Chester MBA provides a platform to expand your global network, foster creativity, and refine your management skills for success in international business. With a selection of modules, you can tailor your MBA to align with your career goals while building a worldwide professional network alongside fellow students. Through lectures, case studies, and practical projects, students enhance their capabilities in complex environments. 

This master of business administration program delivered at the Queen's Park Campus offers flexibility. It offers full-time (1 year) and part-time (2 years) options and start dates in February, May, and October. This allows students to tailor their learning to fit their existing professional commitments. An optional Project/Placement year is available for further practical experience at an additional cost.

Entry Requirements

Grade Requirements

To study for a Master of Business Administration MBA at the University of Chester, applicants are required to have a relevant 2:2 Honours Degree or equivalent. Students are also expected to demonstrate some form of previous work experience.

English Proficiency

Candidates whose first or primary language is not English usually need an overall IELTS score of 6.5, with no component score below 5.5.

Cost of Study

The cost of the Master of Business Administration MBA program for International Students is £15,200 (2025/26). Please note that an additional £2,750 is required for MSc programs that incorporate a placement or project year, and payment is due at the start of the second year.

You will automatically be considered for these scholarships when your application is reviewed, and any award given will be stated on your offer letter.
