BSc Business and Management

Course Overview

The BSc Business and Management at Brunel University London helps you understand how businesses work in today’s world. You will learn about different business models, how to manage people and organisations, and gain useful skills for the workplace.

From the beginning of the course, you will study important topics such as accounting, marketing, international business, project management, and public relations. You will also learn about globalisation and how big international companies work. These companies produce more than half of the world’s goods and services, so it’s important to understand how they operate and what roles are available in them.

As you continue your studies, you will practise solving real business problems using case studies and practical activities. You will also learn how to use computer programs like SPSS and Excel to understand data; no advanced maths is needed. In your final year, you can choose from a list of optional subjects so you can study the areas that interest you most.

The BSc Business and Management from Brunel University London is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), so if you’re interested in further study, you could be exempt from some of their professional exams after you graduate.
