Entry Requirements for Nepalese Students

Grade Requirements:

  • Applicants need a GCE A-level grade of AAB to BBB, which must include Mathematics and one of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Geology, Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Computer Science, Electronics, or Design and Technology. 
  • International Baccalaureate Diploma holders need 30 points, including a score of 5 in Higher Level Maths (Analysis and Approaches) and 5 in Higher Level in one of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Geography, or Design Technology.

English Proficiency:

  • Applicants need an IELTS with an overall score of 6.0 and a minimum of 5.5 in all individual components. 
  • PTE (overall 59, with no subscore below 59), BrunELT (58% overall, with no area below 55%), or TOEFL (77% overall, with specific minimum scores in each section: Reading 18, Listening 17, Speaking 20, Writing 17) are also accepted.

Cost of Study

For the BEng Electronic and Electrical Engineering programme, the annual tuition fees for the 2025/26 academic year are £24,795 per year for full-time study.

Scholarships

Brunel University London has some financial support options for international students. International students paying their fees might be eligible for a £3,000 bursary. To be considered, they will need to have an offer to study and pay a £5,000 deposit by August 30, 2025. They don't need to apply separately for this bursary; eligible students are automatically considered. The university also offers the Vice Chancellor's Undergraduate Excellence Award. This award gives 25 students a 25% discount on their tuition fees each year. To be eligible, students need to apply for the scholarship early and achieve good grades, like ABB in A Levels.
