Course Overview

The MSc Real Estate at Sheffield Hallam University can be completed in one year if studied full-time. The course is held at the City Campus and aims to prepare students to meet the professional and ethical standards set by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Students will learn about key topics such as economics in relation to the built environment, property law, valuation, building assessments, and management of corporate real estate.

A significant part of the programme is the dissertation, which is a detailed research project that encourages students to critically analyse and evaluate real estate practices and theories.
