BEng Honours Chemical Engineering

Course Overview

The BEng (Honours) Chemical Engineering course at Sheffield Hallam University prepares students for their careers in green and sustainable industries. The curriculum is built around industry projects that allow students to gain technical knowledge and professional skills.

Entry Requirements for Indian Students

Candidates are to submit a statement where they discuss their reasons for applying for the course, an academic and/or employer reference and CVs along with their applications.

Grade Requirements:

  • Candidates need at least 112-120 UCAS points, including at least 64 points from two A levels and must have Mathematics, Chemistry or Physics.
  • Other international qualifications equivalent to A-levels are also accepted.

English Proficiency:

  • Candidates need an IELTS score of 7.0 overall with a minimum of 6.5 in each section.
  • Other English language test scores, such as PTE and TOEFL IBT, are accepted, amongst others.
  • Students who do not meet this requirement can take a Pre-sessional English course at the University.
