Course overview
This programme is designed for students who want to develop skills in creating new businesses or becoming successful managers in global companies. The course starts with a foundation year to help students get ready for the degree and teaches students how to come up with new business strategies, how to be innovative, and how to find creative solutions.
In this course, students will work with industry experts, mentors, and investors, and they will have the opportunity to launch their own businesses. The degree also has two important accreditations.
Students will learn through various methods, ensuring that they gain both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, and some of these methods include interactive workshops, group projects, and individual study. Assessment on this course is varied, using methods like reports, presentations, and project work, allowing students to demonstrate their understanding in different ways. This approach helps students develop strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, preparing them for the challenges of the business world.
Entry requirements
Candidates are encouraged to write a personal statement explaining why they want to study business management and any relevant experiences they have. A reference from a teacher or a past employer is also typically needed. Students have the option to include their work history when they apply to show their practical experience.
Grade Requirements:
- Applicants need 64 UCAS points, including at least 32 points from one A level, a BTEC Extended Diploma at MPP, a BTEC Diploma at MM, T Levels, or the International Baccalaureate.
- Equivalent international qualifications to A-Levels are also accepted.
English Proficiency:
- International students need an IELTS score of 6.0 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in each skill (reading, writing, listening, and speaking), or an equivalent English language qualification such as PTE or TOEFL.
