Grade Requirements

  • To be considered, applicants need BBC in A-Levels or a BTEC Extended Diploma at DDM. Combinations of other BTEC qualifications equivalent to three full A-Levels are also acceptable. For the IB diploma, 29 points overall with 5,5,4 in three higher-level subjects are required, along with Standard Level 4 in Mathematics and grade 5 in English Language. A QAA-recognised Access Diploma with 45 Level 3 credits, including at least 21 distinctions and the remainder at merit or distinction, may also be presented.

English Proficiency

  • Non-native English speakers may need to demonstrate proficiency in the language through an IELTS score of at least 6.5, with no component lower than 6.0. TOEFL or other equivalents are also accepted.

Cost of Study

For international students, the annual tuition fee (2025/2026) to study BSc (Hons) International Development Management at Aston University, Birmingham, is £21,500 with an additional placement year fee of £2,500.
