BSc Psychological Studies

Course Overview

Buckinghamshire New University’s BSC (Hons) Psychological Studies offers an interesting psychology degree without British Psychological Society (BPS) accreditation. It also allows students to select from optional modules like health, social, cognitive, and developmental psychology.

The course begins with foundations in research methods and human behaviour, then lets students align their learning based on their interests or preferences. They will also benefit from experienced lecturers and access to up-to-date psychology labs with VR tools, eye-tracking, and counselling rooms.

Teaching includes lectures, seminars, and practicals. Assessments are done through essays, presentations, tests, laboratory reports, and a final dissertation to help students get better at research and creative thinking.
