The University of Suffolk BSc Mental Health Nursing programme prepares students to become first-level registered Mental Health Nurses. The curriculum helps students to build the essential skills, knowledge, and values that they need to establish therapeutic relationships and promote mental health and wellbeing for service users.
The course features a 50% theory and 50% practice split each semester, including extensive clinical placements across Suffolk. Students in this course will have access to state-of-the-art facilities for clinical simulation, including immersive and virtual reality environments. Graduates of this course will gain entry to the NMC Professional Register upon completion of the degree.
