About University

Northumbria University is a public university in Newcastle upon Tyne, a city in the North East of England. The university began in 1877 as Rutherford College. It became Newcastle Polytechnic in 1969 and gained university status in 1992, when it was renamed Northumbria University.

Entry Requirements

Applicants should normally have substantial experience of working in a business organisation. 

Grade Requirements:

  • A minimum of a 2:2 honours degree or equivalent is required to study this course.

English Proficiency: 

  • International applicants whose first language is not English are expected to show proof of English proficiency. This can be achieved by having an overall IELTS score of 6.5 with at least 5.5 in each component. 
  • The university also accepts several international qualifications, such as TOEFL and PTE Academic.

Cost of Study

The tuition fee to study the MSc in Business Analytics at Northumbria University for the 2025/2026 academic session is £20,950.
