Entry Requirements

Candidates are required to submit a personal statement in which they discuss their reasons for applying to the course and provide other relevant information about their studies. A relevant academic and/or employer reference is also required. Students have the option to upload their CVs along with their applications to demonstrate their work experience.

Grade Requirements:

  • Applicants typically need a UK lower second-class (2:2) undergraduate degree with honours, or an equivalent international qualification. 
  • If an applicant does not meet these standard entry requirements, they may apply for a Pre-Master's course; successful completion of this path will then enable their entry into the MSc programme.

English Proficiency:

  • All applicants whose primary language is not English need an overall score of 6.5, with no less than 5.5 in any of the four elements. 
  • Applicants can also submit other English test scores, like TOEFL and PTE.

Cost of Study

For the 2025/2026 academic year, the tuition fee for the MSc Automotive Mechatronics at Cranfield University is £27,910.
