Course overview

The MSc Financial Data Science at the University of Surrey helps you gain the skills needed to work in today’s finance industry. Entry requirements

You may be considered for the course if you have other professional qualifications or experience of equivalent standing.

Grade Requirements:

  • A minimum of a 2:2 in a relevant UK honours degree, or a recognised equivalent international qualification.
  • Your qualification should demonstrate basic knowledge and understanding of calculus, linear algebra, probability, and statistics.

English Proficiency:

  • International students whose first language is not English should have an IELTS overall score of 6.5 (or equivalent) with a minimum of 6.0 in Writing and 5.5 in the other components.
