Course overview

The Entrepreneurship & Innovation Management Surrey programme is designed to give students the necessary skills and knowledge to create growth strategies in a rapidly changing world. This course mixes academic learning with hands-on experience, aiming to improve business practices and bring about lasting change within organisations.

Throughout the programme, students will explore topics like entrepreneurship ideas, managing innovation, researching products and markets, building business models, and digital marketing and analytics. They'll gain practical experience through projects with new businesses and working with outside partners on digital tasks. Assessments include case studies, group assignments, and a main final project, which could be a business plan or a consulting project.

Entry requirements

A reference from a teacher or an employer is also necessary. You can also upload your CV to highlight any work experience you have.

Grade Requirements: 

  • Generally, applicants need at least a 2:2 honours degree in a relevant subject. The university will also consider those with other accepted international qualifications or suitable professional experience.

English Proficiency:

  • If English is not your first language, you will need to show you have the required English skills by having an IELTS score of 6.5 overall, with no section below 6.0. 
  • Equivalent scores from other approved tests, like PTE and TOEFL, are also accepted.
