About University

The University of Surrey is a highly respected public research university. You can find it in Guildford, Surrey, in the south-east part of England. The main campus is called the Stag Hill campus. It is just a 10-minute walk from the Guildford town centre. This campus has all the main classrooms, the MySurrey Hive (which is a centre for student help), and a library that is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for study and support.

In 2023, the University won a Gold award for its excellent teaching (called the Teaching Excellence Framework, or TEF). Entry Requirements for Bangladeshi Students

Grade Requirements:

  • If you are applying with A-levels, you will need to get three grades at C or higher (CCC). These grades must include Mathematics and one other science subject from this list: Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Further Maths, or Physics.
  • If you are studying the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, you need a total score of 29 points overall.

English Proficiency:

  • For your English language score, you must show an IELTS Academic score of 6.0 in total. You need a minimum score of 5.5 in each of the four sections (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking), or an equivalent score from another approved English test.

Cost of Study

To study this course, you're to pay an annual tuition fee of £27,000. This is, however, subject to a yearly increase.

Scholarships

The University of Surrey offers money help for students from other countries who want to start a full-time Master's degree. This support can make your course cost less. The main support is called the International Excellence Award, which is a great chance to get up to £5,000 taken off the cost of your course. In addition to this main award, you might also be able to get other scholarships. These are given out if you have had very good grades in the past or if your personal situation meets certain requirements.
