The University of Salford's BSc (Hons) with Management (Top-Up) is a one-year programme designed for students who have already completed a Level 5 qualification, such as a Higher National Diploma (HND). It allows these students to achieve a full bachelor's degree and prepares them for careers across the business industry.
The course covers important areas such as leadership, communication, strategic management, entrepreneurship, and sustainability. Students would learn the principles required in Business and how to manage people and resources. Excellent tutors worldwide are available to impart knowledge, and an overflow of excellent results caps their relentless efforts. It doesn’t stop there. Students also develop entrepreneurial skills needed to grow in the industry alongside a core management orientation.
Learning happens online through live classes and recorded sessions that can be watched later. Weekly small group sessions with a tutor are also included. Marks are awarded for assignments that require the application of business theories to actual business scenarios.

Grade Requirements
Applicants should hold a Higher National Diploma (HND - Level 5) or a Pearson/BTEC HND in a business-related subject, or an equivalent international qualification. Candidates with 240 UK Higher Education credits or 120 ECTS credits, or an equivalent amount, are also considered.
English Proficiency
International applicants whose first language isn’t English must show proficiency by taking a test. An IELTS score of 6.0 (with no element below 5.5) is accepted.
International students opting for the BSc Business with Management (Top-Up) degree are expected to pay an annual tuition fee of £15,720 for the 2025/26 academic year.
The University of Salford offers scholarships for international students applying to undergraduate programmes, including the BSc Business with Management (Top-Up). Such scholarships include the Global Gold Excellence Scholarship, which provides up to £3,500 for undergraduate applicants who achieve A-level grades of ABB or equivalent qualifications and the Global Silver Excellence Scholarship, valued at £3,000 towards tuition fees for applicants with A-level grades of BBC or equivalent.
