Course overview

The BSc Sports Therapy at the University of Roehampton is designed for students who want to make a real impact on human health by gaining the specialist and practical skills needed to support the treatment and recovery of injuries.

In this course, students will gain practical experience in real-world clinical and sporting settings, building the confidence and skills to succeed as Sports Therapists. Assess individuals for a range of conditions and injuries to administer appropriate management, including basic life support.

Students will learn through a combination of practical experience, independent study, and real-world challenges. Assessment methods include online tests, laboratory reports, presentations, essays, research or data collection projects, and ‘objective structured clinical examinations’ (OSCE).

Entry requirements

Interested applicants are required to submit a personal statement discussing their interest in the BSc Sports Therapy and provide any relevant experience. A reference from an academic or employer is required. Also, applicants can upload a CV to show previous study or work experience.

Grade Requirements:

  • Applicants typically need 112 UCAS Tariff points.
  • Alternatively, applicants with a Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma - MPP can also apply.

English Proficiency:

  • Non-English speaking students need an IELTS score of 6.0 overall with a minimum 5.5 in each component.
  • Accepted alternatives include PTE and TOEFL.

    The scholarships are worth £2000, paid for the length of your course.
