BSc Psychology and Education Practice

University of Roehampton

Course overview

This fantastic, career-focused degree is approved by the BPS and is perfect if students want a job where psychology meets education. They will get a solid academic start and learn how to use psychology ideas to make teaching and learning better. A major part of the course is the placement in the second year, which gives students valuable, hands-on experience in real-world settings to prepare them to work in education, policy, or psychology.

Students' learning here is hands-on and helpful, with a mix of lectures and smaller group sessions, meaning they will spend lots of time in seminars, labs, or workshops. Instead of just exams, students will be assessed through coursework, presentations, and a big research project in their final year. Plus, students pick up key skills like problem-solving, emotional intelligence, and teamwork, which are hugely important for any job.
