Course overview

The BSc Business Management programme at the University of Roehampton is designed to equip students with the essential skills and experience necessary to become effective business leaders, resulting in a positive societal impact. The course holds a dual accreditation to a CMI qualification and involves practical learning, opportunities for paid industry placements, and extensive networking events to enhance student employability. 

The curriculum covers subjects such as business ethics, responsible management, and an exploration of emerging markets. The learning approach includes lectures, seminars, and online skills development. Students are assessed through coursework, reports, examinations, online tests, portfolio evaluations, case studies, and consultancy projects.

Entry requirements

Interested students are to present a personal statement with reasons for applying to the course and other information related to their educational background. An academic and/or employer reference is also necessary. Students can also include their CVs to demonstrate work experience.

Grade Requirements:

  • Candidates are required to have between 96 -112 UCAS Tariff points, which can be achieved by having A Levels or  BTEC qualifications.

  • International qualifications equivalent to A-levels are also accepted.

English Proficiency:

  • Non-English speaking candidates from other countries require an overall IELTS academic score of 6.0, with a minimum of 5.5 in reading, writing, speaking and listening.

  • Other English qualifications, like TOEFL, are also accepted

  • Roehampton Higher Technical Qualification (HNC/ HND) Scholarship

    The scholarships are worth £2000, paid for the length of your course.

    Up to four scholarships available to first year students starting in September, each worth up to £2,000 a year.

  • Southlands College 150th Anniversary Scholarships (Education)

    £2,000 fees discount are offered to two students of the University of Roehampton as part of the celebrations to mark the 150th anniversary of the founding of Southlands College.
