MSc Real Estate Management

The MSc Real Estate Management programme from the University of Portsmouth is designed to enable students to develop their careers in managing real estate portfolios, including both natural and built environments. It also helps students develop the ability to manage multiple projects and teams. Throughout this one-year RICS-accredited programme, students will learn to use industry-standard software, apply managerial skills and report findings accurately, equipping them with knowledge and skills needed to build a career in real estate management.

The MSc Real Estate Management programme at the University of Portsmouth allows students to engage with complex problems drawn from live real estate activity and apply the skills they gain to work locally and participate in community practice. After graduation, students will be eligible to begin the process of becoming a chartered surveyor or to pursue research into the field.

Grade Requirements: 

A second-class honours degree or equivalent in any discipline. Business Studies, Social Sciences, Humanities and Liberal Arts are accepted, but any applicant with demonstrable commitment to, enthusiasm for or experience in the field with a good standard of literacy will also be considered.

English Proficiency:

International students must demonstrate English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.0 (or equivalent) with no component score below 5.5.

The tuition fees for international students enrolling in the MSc Real Estate Management programme at the University of Portsmouth for the 2025/26 academic session are £19,200 for the full-time programme and £9,600 for the part-time formats.
