BEng Engineering Management Top-Up

The BEng Engineering Management (Top-Up) at the University of Portsmouth is designed for students who want to develop the ability to combine technical problem-solving skills with the organisational and planning abilities of management. With these skills, students can make informed and analytical decisions, maintain supplier relationships and conduct impact assessments.

The students will learn in modules such as design for quality manufacturing systems, project planning and management, strategic management, supply chain management, and sustainable development and environmental management. The teaching methods include lectures, workshops and practical sessions, while assessments are done through coursework, exams and project work.

Grade Requirements:

• Applicants are required to have relevant HE study leading to a Level 5 qualification (e.g an appropriate HND, foundation degree or Advanced Diploma).

English Proficiency:

• Non-English speaking applicants need a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 with no component score below 5.5.
• Alternative English proficiency tests, such as PTE or TOEFL, are accepted.

The tuition fee for the BEng Engineering Management (Top-Up) in the University of Portsmouth is £16,200 per year for international students. Tuition fees are reviewed annually and are subject to change.

The University of Portsmouth awards several scholarships to international students. Some of these include the Chancellor’s Global Academic Merit Scholarship, which offers a £5,000 reduction in fees and the Vice Chancellor's Global Development Scholarship, which offers a £2,500 fee reduction applied to the first year of study. These scholarships are awarded by the university when students meet the eligibility requirements.
