Course overview
Coaching has grown rapidly as a profession in the last decade and coaching psychology is now recognised as a specialist area of psychology with the recent formation of the Division of Coaching Psychology within the British Psychological Society. This course is designed around the new Division of Coaching Psychology curriculum. Students will undergo a transformative journey with our MSc in Coaching Psychology, where the convergence of psychological principles and coaching methodologies creates profound personal and professional growth. This program, designed by experts in coaching psychology, combines the scientific rigor of traditional psychology with the artistry of coaching, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of human behaviour and the tools to realise positive change for clients. You will explore advanced psychological theories, practice evidence-based coaching techniques, and develop the skills to empower individuals and organisations towards optimal performance.
Our curriculum emphasises practical application, blending theory with practice, ensuring graduates are well-equipped to navigate the complexities of the evolving coaching landscape. All students will be required to complete 80 hours of coaching practice outside of the course. You will be offered some support in finding coaching clients where possible.
