University of Gloucestershire

Course overview

This Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy trains students for a science-based job in healthcare. The main goal is to help people manage injuries or disabilities using movement, exercise, and teaching. The course uses a 'whole person' approach, which means patients are completely included in all decisions about their own care.

Students learn key subjects such as anatomy (how the body is built), physiology (how the body works), and biomechanics (how the body moves). They then use this knowledge in real patient care. The course has been approved by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). This means that when they complete the course, they can apply to become a registered Physiotherapist.
