MA Architecture and Urbanism

University of East London

Course overview

This is a new postgraduate Master of Arts (MA) programme combining architectural theory, practice, and urban design principles. Students engage with both conceptual and physical aspects of building, benefiting from professional links with world-renowned firms such as Zaha Hadid Architects and Grimshaw.

The course offers the chance to realise ideas and integrate physical fabrication into the design process using the university’s cutting-edge manufacturing facilities. These resources include an ABB robotic arm, CNC milling, laser cutting, and 3D printing, enabling students to develop extensive and practical skills in construction and production.
