BSc Sports Nutrition and Health With Foundation Year
Course overview
This four-year programme, which includes an initial foundation year, prepares students to become experts in the field by exploring the physiological, psychological, and biochemical aspects of nutrition. The course is designed for those who may not meet the standard entry requirements for the three-year degree, offering an essential platform to develop academic and study skills before progressing to the main degree content. The training focuses on contemporary, safe practice to improve performance, health, and general well-being for both elite athletes and the wider public.
Students learn through a mixture of lectures, practical sessions, laboratory work, and seminars, with assessments including exams, coursework, and practical activities.
