Course overview
The International Business and Management MSc (January Start) at the University of Bradford is a 14-month programme designed to help students develop a strong understanding of international business environments. Students learn how organisations operate in the global economy. They study how competition, laws, and differences between countries affect businesses. Teachers use simple business ideas and real examples from other countries. At the start of the course, students learn the basic ideas of international business and management. The course focuses on understanding global markets and how organisations are structured.
The programme is delivered through full-time postgraduate study with a January intake. Ethical business practice and corporate responsibility are key themes. Students examine communication styles, negotiation, and decision-making across cultures. Teaching highlights how managers respond to change, uncertainty, and risk in global operations. The course concludes with a dissertation or applied project. This final stage allows focused study of an international business issue and demonstrates academic and professional competence.
