This three-year undergraduate degree is for students who want to become clinical exercise therapists. It teaches them the skills and knowledge needed to help people with long-term health conditions. The course combines learning in class with practical experience. Students will need to complete at least 150 hours of hands-on work at the on-site Community Exercise Clinic or other industry placements.
The course covers various subjects, including anatomy, sports massage, and how to manage injuries. It also teaches students how to work with people who have long-term health problems. The programme is approved by CIMSPA, which allows students to get extra qualifications like being a gym instructor. Students will be taught by experienced experts and may also go on trips to places like Luton Town Football Club and King's College in London.
