MSc Human Computer Interaction

Course Overview

The MSc Human Computer Interaction at the University for the Creative Arts is a one-year, full-time programme at the UCA Farnham campus. Entry Requirements for Bangladeshi Students

Candidates must submit a personal statement, academic or employer reference, and optionally, a CV to give a picture of their work experience.

Grade Requirements

  • Candidates need to have an Honours degree in computer science, a design discipline, or a related field. 
  • The university also accepts applicants without a degree if they have professional work experience.

English Proficiency

  • Candidates need an overall score of 6.5 in IELTS, with no element below 5.5, or provide equivalent test scores. 
  • PTE and TOEFL are accepted.
  • Pre-sessional English language courses are available for those who do not meet the direct requirement.

Cost of Study

The tuition fee for the 2025/26 academic year is £18,000 for international students.

Scholarships

The University for the Creative Arts (UCA) provides several scholarships and discounts to support students, including the UCA Creative Development Scholarship, which automatically awards eligible international applicants a £3,000 fee reduction for their first year of study. Current UCA students and alumni progressing to postgraduate studies are also eligible for a discount based on their undergraduate grade: a 2:1 Honours degree or higher qualifies for a 50% tuition fee discount, while a 2:2 Honours degree qualifies for a £3,000 fee discount. Furthermore, UCA participates in the Saïd Foundation scholarships for master's degrees, offering one-year courses at UCA for individuals from Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, and Palestine.
