MSc Artificial Intelligence with Data Analytics

The MSc Artificial Intelligence with Data Analytics course at Teesside University, Middlesbrough, is a two-year programme showing the importance of modern technology in understanding data. The data could be either from a direct source or from researched statistics. This course teaches students how to use instructions to obtain accurate information for further study. This includes areas such as how systems learn, designing effective instructions for these systems, understanding statistical methods, and considering the ethical aspects of advanced computer systems.

The programme consists of modules and a final year project. For students who choose the extended version of the degree, there is also an option to complete an internship, which provides great practical experience. Throughout the programme, theoretical knowledge is combined with its practical application in areas such as identifying fraudulent activities, analysing healthcare data, and using advanced computer systems.

Learning involves lectures, seminars, tutorials, and panel sessions. Assessment is coursework-based, including essays, reports, presentations, case studies, and a final dissertation or project.
