Course overview

This three-year degree is all about designing the modern world, thinking about everything from bridges and tunnels to big projects like flood defence and water systems. It gives students a solid start in designing and studying civil engineering structures. Students get really good at solving tough problems and learning how to model and sketch advanced engineering solutions.

The way students learn is through a blend of Conventional lectures, lots of hands-on practical lab time, and essential project work, all done using modern, industry-standard equipment. Assessment is based on written examinations, practical assignments, and important project submissions. There is also the option to complete a paid year in industry or study abroad.
