MEng Electronic and Electrical Engineering
Course overview
The MEng Electronic and Electrical Engineering programme gives students a strong foundation in both electronics and electrical engineering. Students study analogue and digital circuit design, instrumentation, computer and communications systems, power generation, motors, and renewable energy technologies. The first two years share common modules across different engineering routes, helping you build core knowledge before specialising.
Students learn through lectures, tutorials, laboratory work, and team-based design projects, including building a real device, and are assessed by coursework, reports, practical skills tests, exams, and will carry out an individual major project in later years.
