BEng Mechatronics and Robotics

The BEng Mechatronics and Robotics at Middlesex University will allow students to have a strong foundation in engineering, including mechanical, electrical, and control engineering and computer science, before learning topics such as AI, robotics, mechatronic systems, and intelligent systems. Students will develop the skills to design and operate robots and work with the latest software and systems in AI, automation, and the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT).

The course is accredited by the Engineering Council, giving students the chance to become a Chartered Engineer (CEng). They will have access to the university's robotics and haptics lab, as well as a dedicated mechatronics facility equipped with the latest automation equipment.

Students will work on real-world projects and learn from guest lecturers and industry professionals to gain valuable practical experience through work placements and design engineering competitions.

Grade Requirements:

• Applicants generally need 112 UCAS points. This can be achieved through qualifications such as A levels or a BTEC Extended Diploma.

English Proficiency:

• If English is not your first language, you will need an overall IELTS Academic score of 6.0, with a minimum of 5.5 in each part of the test.
• The university also accepts other test scores, such as TOEFL or PTE.

For international students, the tuition fee for BEng Mechatronics and Robotics at Middlesex University is £16,600 per year.
