MSc Construction Project Management

The purpose of the Liverpool John Moores University MSc Construction Project Management programme is to produce self-reliant, competent construction project managers. The course is also an engaging course where students are provided with an opportunity to increase in knowledge and develop competencies. It exposes you to established and marginally new theories and practices in project management, and it promotes a risk management approach to problem-solving. The programme is accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB).

Students have the opportunity for collaborative work and student-centred study. A key part of the programme is the dissertation, which allows you to conduct an in-depth study on a subject related to the built environment. The course also covers advanced techniques and provides a solid foundation of knowledge along with essential organisational and analytical skills needed for a successful career in the field.

Grade Requirements:

• Applicants need at least a lower second-class (2:2) honours undergraduate degree in a relevant subject area.
• Alternatively, an equivalent professional qualification with sufficient work experience may be considered.

English Proficiency:

• Applicants from non-English speaking backgrounds need to score 6.5 overall in the IELTS test, with a minimum of 5.5 in each component, or submit equivalent test scores.

The annual tuition fee for international students taking the MSc Construction Project Management at Liverpool John Moores University is £18,250.

Liverpool John Moores University offers a £3,000 International Achievement Scholarship for postgraduate study. This partial tuition fee scholarship is awarded automatically to eligible students who progress to the university. There are also other external scholarships available which may be applicable.
