Course overview
The LLB Law degree at Liverpool John Moores University is a comprehensive undergraduate course that gives students the knowledge and skills for a career in law or other sectors. The programme looks at how legal systems work and their impact on society. Students will learn from staff with professional experience, making sure they get a proper grounding in the subject.
Students' learning is checked through a mixture of methods, including exams and essays, as well as practical exercises like mooting, where students argue a legal case. Students on this course are strongly encouraged to undertake work placements and voluntary work. This provides them with valuable real-world experience and helps them to fully understand how the legal system operates in practice.
