BSc Human Biology

The BSc Human Biology gives a detailed understanding of how the human systems work, from the molecular level (tiny cells) to the whole body covering topics like health, disease and aging. Students will learn from expert teachers and with the best laboratory equipment, with optional modules, and with work placement.

Students will be taught core modules such as, Genetics and Evolution, Microbiology, Anatomy and Physiology, Fundamentals of Scientific Research, Practical Skills for Biology and Principles of Human Nutrition

Students will be assessed through examination and coursework, helping them build professional knowledge in areas like genetics, neuroscience, immunology, nutrition and other professional skills such as communication and research

• Candidates need an overall score of 6.0 in the IELTS Academic test, with no score below 5.5.
• PTE and TOEFL are also accepted.

The tuition fee for the BSc Human Biology at Liverpool John Moores University is  £18,250  for the 2025/26 academic year.
