BSc Business with International Business Management
Course overview
The BSc Business with International Business Management programme at LJMU provides a strong grounding in key business principles with a specific focus on the international context. Students will learn about global business strategy, international marketing, and the challenges and opportunities of operating in different countries.
As part of the 'Business with' suite, students have the option to switch to courses like Finance, Digital Marketing, or Human Resource Management at the end of their first year, and there is also an opportunity to undertake a 48-week paid work placement in the UK or overseas to gain practical experience.
Learning on this course involves lectures, interactive workshops, and smaller seminar groups for more in-depth discussion. Students’ understanding will be assessed through various means, such as written assignments (essays and reports, both individual and group work), closed-book examinations, practical assessments, individual and group presentations, and a final year dissertation. In the second year, students can also apply to study abroad in countries like China, the USA, and Europe.
